About us

The Mobile Technology club at MIT (MoMIT) was founded to promote learning, networking, recruiting and entrepreneurship in the mobile, new media and Internet industries at MIT.

The club serves as a conduit between leading companies, students, and entrepreneurs within the mobile and new media sectors and aims to foster innovation and shape the leaders of tomorrow.

MoMIT is one of the most active clubs at MIT. The club is led by a team of first and second year students at MIT Sloan and reaches more than 150 students at MIT Sloan and the broader MIT graduate student community. This rich and diverse group of students share a passion about the mobile and new media industries.

Our goals

• Education: Educate MIT students about the technologies and business ecosystems of the mobile and new media industries.
• Networking: Act as an open forum of ideas for people who share a common belief in the power of mobile, media and Internet technologies to foster business and human relationships.
• Recruiting: Connect MIT students looking to build careers in the mobile, media and internet sectors with leading emerging and established employers in this industry.
• Entrepreneurship: Enable entrepreneurs across all parts of MIT to connect and launch new enterprises in the mobile, media and Internet industries.
